Off-Campus Drives for 2027 Batch: Confirmed vs Reported

Last reviewed: 16 October 2026. The GATE row was re-checked that day; the TCS, CodeVita, Wipro and Infosys rows were re-checked on 15 October 2026, and the other seven rows still carry their 30 August 2026 check. The table says which is which. Where no official page exists, the claim is attributed and flagged rather than stated as fact.

What "2027 batch" can actually apply to right now

If you are graduating in 2027, "off campus drives for 2027 batch" is a search query, not a single event. As of 15 October 2026, opportunities split into three honest buckets.

The first bucket is dated national tests with a real calendar. GATE 2027 is the clearest example: registration opened 2 September 2026 and closed on 16 October after a last late-fee window, and the exam itself runs across three weekends in February 2027. TCS CodeVita Season 14 is a dated contest too, though the portal has not shown its round dates yet. TCS iON NQT sits next to this bucket but works differently: it has no single "2027" edition, only recurring test windows roughly 2 to 4 weeks apart, open to the 2022-2028 passing-out band.

The second bucket is rolling ATS hiring, meaning the company takes applications continuously through its own careers portal rather than opening and closing a dated "season." Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, LTIMindtree, HCLTech, Tech Mahindra, and IBM all fall here. Waiting for a "2027 batch drive announcement" from these seven is the wrong mental model; the portal is either accepting resumes or it isn't, and that can change without a press release.

The third bucket is drives where this page could not confirm a current status even after checking the official page directly, most importantly Infosys SP/DSE. For that bucket, this tracker states exactly what is known and exactly where to check yourself, instead of guessing.

Master status table: confirmed vs reported (15 October 2026)

"Verified" means confirmed directly on the company's or exam authority's own page. "Reported" means sourced to aggregator or news coverage this page has not independently confirmed. The "Last checked" column says when each row was last looked at; rows not re-checked on 15 October keep their 30 August status rather than a fresh-looking guess.

TCS iON NQT for the 2027-batch cycle

TCS does not brand this test "NQT 2027." The official TCS iON hub page uses no year suffix at all, current as of this check: eligibility is stated as pre-final or final year students of any stream or degree, students passing between 2022 and 2028, and working professionals with up to 2 years of experience. A 2027-batch student is inside that band by definition, so there is no separate "2027 edition" to wait for.

What is verified directly on tcsion.com: the test runs on a rolling cadence, scheduled roughly 2 to 4 weeks apart, and it is not free. Registration fees are tiered: NQT-Cognitive costs 599 rupees, discounted from 800; NQT-IT costs 999 rupees, discounted from 1,598; NQT-Non-Tech costs 599 rupees, discounted from 800; and the NQT-Cognitive-plus-Prep-Pack bundle costs 999 rupees, discounted from 1,447. The cognitive variant's pattern covers three sections: Verbal Ability, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Ability.

What the official page shows now: as of 15 October 2026, the Test Date box on the TCS iON NQT hub page lists the next paid iON NQT test on 24 November 2026, with applications due before 12 November 2026. The 14 September date that aggregators had reported has passed. The November dates apply to the paid iON NQT scorecard, so confirm any hiring-drive slot inside your own TCS NextStep or iON account before finalising study plans around it.

TCS CodeVita Season 14: open to the 2027 batch

CodeVita is the second TCS route a 2027-batch student can use this winter. As of 15 October 2026 the official portal, codevita.tcsapps.com, shows Season 14 registration open for students expecting to complete their course in 2027, 2028, 2029 or 2030. Rounds give you 3 hours, only C, C++, Java and Python are allowed, and only the top coders in each round move on. The portal does not show a registration last date, MockVita dates or Round 1 dates yet, so register now and watch the email you registered with. GATE 2027: registration closed on 16 October

GATE 2027 runs on a single national calendar published by IIT Madras, the organising institute. Every date below was checked on the official portal, gate2027.iitm.ac.in, on 16 October 2026. The portal has moved its dates several times this cycle and shows the older dates struck out, so this list gives only the current ones:

• The application portal (GOAPS) opened on 2 September 2026.
• Regular registration, without the late fee, closed on 5 October 2026.
• The first late-fee window closed on 12 October 2026.
• A last special window, with the late fee, ran from 15 October 2026, 10:30 AM to 16 October 2026, 10:29 AM. The portal said: "No further extension will be granted beyond this period." Registration is now closed.
• Candidates who already applied can correct their application from 14 to 21 October 2026; the portal says this window is open now.
• City-allotment notification is due 4 January 2027.
• Exams run across three weekends: 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 February 2027.
• Results are due 19 March 2027.

The late fee added 500 rupees to the application, whether you picked one paper or two. The official fee table lists one paper at 1,000 rupees in the regular period and 1,500 rupees in the extended period for female, SC, ST and PwD candidates, and 2,000 and 2,500 rupees for all other candidates. The portal also tells applicants not to delete the DigiLocker account they applied with, because future GATE 2027 communication goes only to that account. It carries a standing note that all dates are liable to change.

Wipro Elite NTH: still not open on the official page

This is the cleanest "not yet" on this page. Wipro's own careers.wipro.com/elite page was checked on 30 August 2026 and again on 15 October 2026. Both times it carried no National Talent Hunt section, no dates, and no open-registration link.

An independent aggregator that monitors this page reported the same empty state as of 7 August 2026, and described Wipro's historical pattern as opening Elite NTH registration somewhere between July and September. That window has now passed with nothing on the official page, so this tracker makes no prediction about when the 2027-batch cycle will open.

If you see "Wipro Elite NTH 2027 registration open" content elsewhere right now, especially on YouTube or in a forwarded message, treat it as premature or wrong until it matches what is actually on careers.wipro.com/elite. When it does open, the program runs three rounds: an online NTH test covering aptitude, essay, and coding, a technical interview, and an HR interview, hiring into the Project Engineer role. Infosys: a reported Systems Engineer form, and how to check it yourself

Infosys is the one program on this page where this tracker cannot give a clean open or closed status from an official page, and says so directly rather than guessing.

The new item: a fresher-jobs site reported on 1 October 2026 that a Systems Engineer registration form for "2027 graduates only" is live on surveys.infosysapps.com, the survey domain Infosys has used for past fresher forms. The same report says "Infosys has not published a deadline on the form" and that the form is named a campus registration even though it is publicly reachable. Other aggregators give conflicting deadlines for it. Nothing on an Infosys careers page confirms this form, so if your college has received an Infosys registration mail, follow your placement office's instructions over any forwarded link.

The old Specialist Programmer and Digital Specialist Engineer drive is a different, past cycle. Aggregators gave its deadline as 4 May or 11 May 2026 and listed the 2024, 2025 and 2026 batches as eligible, not 2027. Its form link, surveys.infosysapps.com/r/a/SPOffCampusregistration_apr26, did not load a usable form in this tracker's checks on 30 August and 15 October 2026, which means this page cannot confirm its status either way.

Reported package figures for that SP/DSE cycle, consistent across multiple aggregators, were: SP L3 at 21 lakh rupees, SP L2 at 16 lakh rupees, SP L1 at 10 lakh rupees plus a 1 lakh rupee joining bonus, and DSE Trainee at 6.25 lakh rupees plus a 75,000 rupee joining bonus. Treat these as reported figures for a closed drive, not as an offer for the 2027 batch.

What to do: check any Infosys form against your placement office and the Infosys off-campus guide linked in the table above. Do not pay any fee anywhere in this process. Aggregator sources report that Infosys does not charge candidates at any stage, which lines up with how every other major IT employer on this page runs its fresher hiring.

Rolling ATS hiring: Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, LTIMindtree, HCLTech, Tech Mahindra, IBM

These seven rows were last checked on 30 August 2026. None of them run one nationally-marketed single test date the way GATE or TCS iON NQT do. Each hires through its own applicant tracking system on a continuous or near-continuous basis, so "is the 2027 batch drive open" is the wrong question for all seven. The better question is whether the specific portal is currently accepting your profile, which can change without a public announcement. Treat any claim of a fixed "2027 season" for these seven with suspicion.

Accenture (Associate Software Engineer track): a stated deadline of 9 January 2026 has already passed, per a secondary source, but Accenture's own application channel, reached from indiacampus.accenture.com and redirecting to an amcn.hirepro.in application shell, remains live as an ongoing portal; the shell did not render enough content in this check to confirm whether it is currently accepting new submissions. Multiple fresh 2026-dated ASE and Analyst postings continue to appear through accenture.com/in-en/careers, consistent with rolling hiring rather than one gate.

Cognizant (GenC / GenC Next / GenC Elevate): the 2026-batch window is reported closed as of July 2026, and the next off-campus cycle, aimed at the 2027 batch specifically, is reported opening from August-September 2026 onward. Cognizant CFO Jatin Dalal told a post-earnings press conference the company aims to hire roughly 24,000 to 25,000 graduates in calendar 2026, about 20 percent more than 2025's close to 20,000, as reported by Free Press Journal. The program's official page exists at careers.cognizant.com, but it does not itself state this hiring number, and the specific opening-date reporting above is aggregator-sourced, not independently confirmed on that page's own text.

Capgemini (Exceller plus general graduate hiring): the official careers pages confirm continuous graduate hiring and explicitly state Capgemini does not charge a fee at any stage. There is no discrete open or close date structure on the official page; "continuous hiring" is this tracker's own inference from that absence, not a stated policy.

LTIMindtree (Graduate Engineer Trainee, Associate Trainee): reported to have resumed campus hiring in 2025 after a slowdown, targeting roughly 5,000 fresher onboardings this fiscal year, with drives "typically announced from August onwards." This is aggregator-only reporting; no LTIMindtree page was independently fetched for this check.

HCLTech (Graduate Engineer Trainee): reported as currently open, targeting the 2025 and 2026 batches by name. 2027-batch eligibility for this specific program is not confirmed in current reporting, so check the official campus-hiring page directly before assuming you qualify.

Tech Mahindra: an off-campus portal exists at registration.techmahindra.com with a reported five-stage process: aptitude, a technical or psychometric round, an AI-communication assessment, a technical interview, and an HR round. One caveat: some aggregator content still uses a "TechMBees" program name that could not be confirmed as current on any official page in this check, so this tracker does not use that name.

IBM (Associate System Engineer): reported as officially started, with eligible batches explicitly named as 2024 and 2025 passing-out students, plus a note that 2026-batch candidates can also apply. No source in this check extended that explicitly to the 2027 batch, so confirm current eligibility on IBM's own careers portal rather than assuming it.

Verified means this tracker confirmed the fact directly on the company's own domain or the exam authority's own portal, on the date in the "Last checked" column: GATE 2027's date sequence and fee table on gate2027.iitm.ac.in, TCS iON NQT's next test date, fee schedule and eligibility band on tcsion.com, CodeVita Season 14's eligibility on codevita.tcsapps.com, and Wipro's empty NTH section on careers.wipro.com/elite were all checked on 15 October 2026.

Reported means the fact comes from aggregator or news coverage this page has not independently confirmed on an official page, usually because the official page does not publish that level of detail, such as an exact test date, or because the page could not be reached in a usable form, such as a JavaScript-only application shell. These rows carry attribution in the text itself, phrases like "aggregator sources report" or "per a secondary source," rather than being stated as plain fact.

Unverified means this page checked and still could not confirm a current status either way, most importantly the reported Infosys Systems Engineer form. That gets said directly, with a pointer to check the source yourself, rather than a guess dressed up as a status.

This page does not run its own candidate survey or maintain a private applicant database; every number here traces to either a named company page or a named external report, listed under Sources and credits below. Statuses shift fast in this cycle, so read the "Last checked" date on each row as the actual freshness window, not a formality.

Common mistakes 2027-batch students make right now

• Assuming TCS brands this "NQT 2027." It does not; the official page is year-agnostic and covers passing-out years 2022 through 2028 in one band.
• Treating a video titled "Wipro Elite NTH 2027 Registration Open" as confirmation. As of 15 October 2026, Wipro's own page shows no NTH section at all.
• Paying any fee through a forwarded or non-official link for Infosys, Accenture, or any other drive on this page. None of the major recruiters here charge candidates for the standard process.
• Waiting for a "2027 batch season announcement" from Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, LTIMindtree, HCLTech, Tech Mahindra, or IBM. Seven of the twelve programs on this page simply do not work that way; check the portal itself instead of waiting for a headline.
• Missing GATE's correction window. If you applied, the official portal lets you fix your application from 14 to 21 October 2026, so check your form now instead of after the admit card.
• Waiting for a CodeVita deadline before registering. The portal shows no last date yet, and a deadline you never see announced still closes.
• Treating an aggregator-quoted package figure, including any number on this page, as a guaranteed offer. Confirm current compensation on the specific role's written offer, not a secondary source.
