Process & Standards

How we research, verify, and publish.

PapersAdda is a small editorial operation. One editor, a transparent pipeline, and a hard rule against fabrication. Here is exactly how an article goes from source to published page.

1. Source identification

Priority articles begin with official notices, company careers pages, public filings, or attributable candidate reports. Older archive pages do not all have a complete source list yet; those pages now say so visibly instead of receiving a blanket verification label.

2. Triangulation

High-risk figures such as CTC, cutoffs, and in-hand pay should be checked against an official source or multiple independent candidate reports. When that evidence is unavailable, the copy must be labelled as an estimate or editorial guidance.

3. AI-assisted drafting (disclosed)

AI can assist research scaffolds, structure, and first drafts. It does not turn an unsupported statement into a verified fact; source links, uncertainty labels, and the final editorial decision remain separate responsibilities.

4. Human editorial review

Aditya Sharma is the named editor and owns the publication standard. Review focuses on internal consistency, unsupported certainty, copied boilerplate, useful preparation value, and whether visible source notes match the article's actual metadata.

5. Quality gate

Indexed Markdown articles must clear the repository's minimum-length and explicit noindex checks. Build-time tests also validate canonical URLs, sitemap eligibility, redirect conflicts, structured data, and broken internal links. Evidence depth is reviewed separately from word count.

6. Annual refresh + correction policy

Changing claims are reviewed as new evidence becomes available. Accepted corrections receive a dated edit and public log entry; a dateModified value records an editorial change, not a guarantee that every external fact remains current.

What we do not do

  • We do not present copied competitor material as original reporting.
  • We do not accept sponsored placements inside article bodies. PapersAdda is reader-funded via display ads only.
  • We do not rank companies based on advertising relationships. Company hub pages present data without commercial bias.
  • We do not use a shared editor-note block to simulate page-specific first-hand analysis.
  • We do not label an article claim-verified merely because it passed a formatting or word-count gate.
  • We do not chase head-term SEO at the cost of content quality. We prefer narrow, source-anchored articles over broad, generic guides.

Source-of-record

The repo behind PapersAdda is public on GitHub: github.com/Declan142/placement-papers. Every article's edit history, commit log, and sourcing pipeline lives there. If you need to audit a fact or claim, the trail is open.
