LTM Is the Same Company, Renamed
On 11 February 2026 LTIMindtree unveiled its LTM brand, with the line "It's time to Outcreate", and its board approved a proposal to change the company name to LTM Limited. The change took legal effect on 17 March 2026, the date of the fresh Certificate of Incorporation. The company's own filings now carry the name as "LTM Limited (formerly LTIMindtree Limited)", and the certificate notes that the company must display its old name alongside the new one for two years. This guide keeps "LTIMindtree" in its title because that is still what most people search, but the employer on your letters is LTM Limited, and its careers site now introduces itself simply as LTM.
What LTM Employees Report Earning, Title by Title
No LTM designation ladder or pay grid turned up in PapersAdda's search. The best public substitute is AmbitionBox's designation-wise data (checked 28 September 2026, built on 2.1L salaries, last refreshed 25 September 2026), which gives each job title an experience range and a salary count. Grades are absent, and so is any hint of which title leads to which.
| Title on AmbitionBox | Experience range | Salaries behind it | Typical range (Rs lakh a year) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Software Engineer, freshers only | Fresher | Not shown | 4 to 4.4 |
| Graduate Engineer Trainee, freshers only | Fresher | Not shown | 3.9 to 4.3 |
| Software Engineer | 0 to 5 years | 16.5k | 4.9 to 5.4 |
| Senior Software Engineer | 1 to 8 years | 22.2k | 10.9 to 12.1 |
| Module Lead | 4 to 10 years | 4.7k | 14.5 to 16 |
| Technical Specialist | 4 to 11 years | 2.1k | 16.1 to 17.8 |
| Software Engineering Specialist | 4 to 11 years | 5.2k | 18.6 to 20.5 |
| Technical Lead | 5 to 15 years | 5.7k | 21.7 to 24 |
| Associate Vice President | Not shown | Not shown | 63.5 to 83.5 |
Three cautions before you use these numbers.
First, outside the two fresher rows, each range blends people at very different points in their careers, so do not mistake any of them for a joining package. The distance between the fresher Software Engineer figure and the Senior Software Engineer range reflects years of tenure and lateral hiring as much as any single promotion, so do not read it as the size of your first raise.
Second, Module Lead, Technical Specialist, Software Engineering Specialist and Technical Lead sit in overlapping experience bands. Software Engineering Specialist and Technical Specialist even share the same 4 to 11 year range with different pay. AmbitionBox does not say how these titles relate to each other, and LTM has not published it, so this page lists them by reported pay rather than ranking them as steps.
Third, the Associate Vice President figure comes from AmbitionBox's own summary line, which ranks it as the top-paying role among those with enough reports. No experience range or salary count sits next to it.
For context on the fresher end, PapersAdda's LTIMindtree fresher salary in-hand guide reports a standard graduate engineer CTC of about 4.0 to 4.5 LPA from candidate reports, in line with AmbitionBox's fresher rows above.
How the Last Three Hike Cycles Ran
LTM's increment date has moved in each of the last three cycles, and that is the most useful single fact for planning your year:
- FY24: People Matters reported that salary hikes were deferred from April to August.
- FY25: the same report says increments were rolled out during the October to December quarter.
- FY26: on the earnings call on 16 October 2025, CEO and Managing Director Venu Lambu said the hikes had been announced to employees at a town hall that day and would be spread over two quarters, with the first tranche effective 1 January and the second on 1 April. "You can assume that 50% in January 1st and 50% of our employees in the April 1st," he said, adding his personal view that this "may be the new normal going forward as well."
The later calls confirm the plan ran as described. On the call on 23 April 2026, the company said its fourth-quarter margin fell mainly because of "partial wage hikes implemented from 1st January". On the call on 11 July 2026, CFO Vipul Chandra Singh described the second tranche as "the wage hike that we did in this quarter" (April to June 2026) and put its expected margin impact at "around 1% or so". PapersAdda found no public statement on the timing of the next increment cycle up to 28 September 2026, so treat your own HR communication as the only reliable date.
LTM has not published how often promotions are processed, or what a promotion adds to pay, on any page PapersAdda could find.
What LTM Itself Says About Moving Up
LTIMindtree's integrated annual report for FY25 (the year ended 31 March 2025, published before the rename) names the company's career framework: "Our career framework 'My Career My Growth' ensures career progression and top talent development for all our associates." It also describes "Learn Grow Lead" and manager-development initiatives, "EmpowHer", a nomination-based leadership development programme for aspiring women leaders, and an enhanced "Talent Framework 3.0" that "focuses on proactive reskilling, precision skill mapping, and demand-supply optimization".
The report gives no promotion timelines, rating thresholds or pay steps, so treat the framework names as real and the mechanics as unpublished. Employee sentiment is less flattering. On AmbitionBox's reviews page, checked on 28 September 2026, employees rate the company 2.7 out of 5 for promotions, the lowest of its category scores (salary gets 3.1). One review reads: "Promotions are not provided in timely manner Hikes are delayed for years and hike percentage is very marginal." A Specialist in Noida, in a review updated on 28 July 2026, wrote: "Even if you have a good rating, they will give 1-2% hike. No scope for promotion." These are individual opinions, not company data, but they point the same way as the moving hike dates above.
Your Next Move, by Where You Sit
At Software Engineer level: check your joining title and CTC in your offer letter. AmbitionBox's fresher figures put Software Engineer at Rs 4 to 4.4 lakh and Graduate Engineer Trainee at Rs 3.9 to 4.3 lakh a year. Because the increment date has moved every cycle, ask your manager which rating cycle and which tranche your first increment falls in, and keep that answer in writing.
At Senior Software Engineer level: the next titles employees report (Module Lead, Technical Lead and the Specialist titles) sit in overlapping experience bands, and LTM has not published which is the standard next step. Ask your manager which title your account uses for the next level, and compare its AmbitionBox range with your current one before you treat any move as a promotion.
At Specialist or Technical Lead level: above this, AmbitionBox's data thins out. Its highest-paying role with enough data, Associate Vice President, is shown at Rs 63.5 to 83.5 lakh a year with no experience range. The only mechanism the company itself names is its "My Career My Growth" framework, so ask your manager how it applies to your next step.
WHAT PAPERSADDA THINKS
Judge this employer on dates and data, not on branding. In the same stretch in which it renamed itself LTM with the line "It's time to Outcreate", its hike date kept moving: August in FY24, October to December in FY25, and two tranches in January and April for FY26, with the CEO saying on the record that split hikes may be the new normal. Its employees rate promotions 2.7 out of 5 on AmbitionBox. A new name and a named career framework are not the same thing as a predictable raise. Plan on the assumption that your increment may arrive in parts and later than April, and ask your own manager for your account's cycle rather than assuming any past year repeats.

What designations do LTM employees report, from fresher upwards?
AmbitionBox's salary data (checked 28 September 2026) lists Software Engineer and Graduate Engineer Trainee at fresher level, then Senior Software Engineer (1 to 8 years), and above that Module Lead, Technical Specialist, Software Engineering Specialist and Technical Lead in overlapping 4 to 15 year bands, with Associate Vice President as its highest-paying role with enough data. When does LTM give its annual salary hike?
The date has moved in every recent cycle. People Matters reported August for FY24 and the October to December quarter for FY25. For FY26, CEO Venu Lambu said on 16 October 2025 that about half the staff would get the increment effective 1 January 2026 and the rest on 1 April 2026, and that split hikes may be the new normal. PapersAdda found no public statement on the next cycle's timing up to 28 September 2026.
What does LTM itself say about career progression?
Its FY25 annual report, published under the LTIMindtree name, names a career framework called 'My Career My Growth', a 'Talent Framework 3.0' focused on reskilling and skill mapping, 'Learn Grow Lead' and manager-development initiatives, and 'EmpowHer' for aspiring women leaders. It does not publish promotion timelines, rating thresholds or pay steps.
How reliable are these LTM salary and promotion figures?
The pay figures are employee-reported on AmbitionBox, not LTM disclosures, and they move a little as new salaries are added. The FY26 hike dates come from LTM's own earnings calls. Employees rate the company 2.7 out of 5 for promotions on AmbitionBox. Confirm your own number and timeline against your offer letter and appraisal communication.
